そこで、瞬間接着剤を付ける量について触れていなかった。以下のサイトでは、けん先の細くなっている部分全体に塗っている。

しかし、以下のページには細くなっている部分の半分程度でいいと書かれている。塗りすぎると公式試合では認められなくなるらしい。
